The "Bring Your Own" Movement

It all started long ago with the quest for an outting, a change of scenery, to spend time away from home, and in the out of doors......

The Picnic - We can learn a lot for our Grand Parents and Great Grand Parents if we had paid attention. With a little planning, the picnic basket was properly packed with the contents of a meal, and all that the meal required to be consumed from. Dishes and cups were wrapped in dish towels and silverware was rolled in a napkin to be nestled in among the jars of jelly and pickles, cloth wrapped cheeses and breads.
